July 28, 2011 - BroHoster Closes

Hello guys wokeupsleepy here, BroHoster is currently out of business according to ClubUptime and my friend, an employee of BroHoster. There is also a thread on FacePunch. One of the workers Andrew, the person on FacePunch and a former employee of BroHoster, is now working for a new game server hosting company called LethalDrive. The cause is unknown for the site was working perfectly fine until today. It seemed as though everything was wiped, on purpose, I don't know. It's as though somebody or something wiped a CD with a magnet. Don't ask me what happened or how it happened, I'm only a fried with a BroHoster employee.

This is the best I can do to explain. JWJ and another person, Matt, started BroHoster and it was quite a success. After a few months, Matt kicked JWJ from the company. The company started to decay from the inside out. Matt tried to sell it, failed and many employees left and then it just shut down. Basically, one person stripped the company to it's bare bones and took all the money when he didn't even do anything.

According to my friend, over $93k is gone. So if you are asking for a refund, my answer is that the money is gone. Not only is the money gone, so are the maps and servers.

The alternative for BroHoster right now is LethalDrive. I've received phenomenal feed back from a few of their customers.

Please excuse my language.

Fuck you Matt, fuck you.

  1. Unfortunately, the information you received was skewed from an employee that had absolutely no access to any billing related sections of our database. The TOTAL INCOME was $93,000 for three months. Our monthly expenses were approximately $44,000/month. That's roughly $132,000 in bills with just under $93,000 income, or nearly $39,000 in debt for a single month.

The platform cost more to operate than it was bringing in, which is all that it took.

Also note that I never stole the company from Jacob -- he started slacking off and stopped doing his job. Several staff members were involved with his being fired, not just myself.

Feel free to play the blame game all you like -- the problem is that the public doesn't know all of the facts as the information that was being passed around was inaccurate and very few are/were willing to listen to the facts.
